Research Topic and Task Field
The project aims to develop a recycling process for critical metals from e-waste with sustainable methods, using a macrophyte (Lemna Minor) and a filamentous fungus (Penicillium simplicissimum). The questions to be answered in the first phase of the project are:
- Development of a mechanical process for comminution of the starting material.
- Determination of the optimal cultivation conditions and the optimal concentrations of the elements to be enriched in the nutrient medium.
