At TU Kaiserslautern, voting tools are already being used in a wide range of subject areas to improve teaching and increase student learning success. At present, the systems used are diverse and are partly based on commercial applications of clicker systems (e.g. H-ITT Clicker iClue), on publicly available open-source developments from other institutions, or on software solutions developed in-house at the TU KL.

The aim of this project is to develop and provide a standardized software system for the entire TU Kaiserslautern. On the one hand, all requirements of the departments should be met and the tool should therefore be used everywhere free of charge and barrier-free; on the other hand, all different solution options (smartphone, clicker or a combination of both) should be easily integrated. As the system is being developed on site, not only previous but also future experience and change requests can be incorporated.
