Trial courses for the upper secondary school
The Chair of Bioprocess Engineering has been offering regular taster courses for basic and advanced biology and chemistry courses for many years. Topics from the fields of
- Bioeconomy,
- genetic engineering,
- (bio)catalysis and
- environmental analysis using smartphones
are offered. In addition, there are teacher training courses that address these topics and demonstrate how they can be integrated into school lessons using practical laboratory examples. The offer is supplemented by numerous experiment kits that can be borrowed free of charge by schools. The range of courses was awarded a prize by the GVS in the “Energy for Education” competition.
