BioVT at the "International Conference on Algal Biomass, Biofuels and Bioproducts"

This year, the BioVT department was represented with two poster contributions at the "International Conference on Algal Biomass, Biofuels and Bioproducts". The conference took place this year from 10 June to 12 June in Clearwater Beach, Florida, USA. The conference covered all areas of emerging technologies in all areas of algal research, including microalgae, macroalgae, and cyanobacteria. In 2024, the focus was on new emphasis on bioengineering advances for micro- and macroalgae, advanced molecular characterization technologies (e.g., genomics, proteomics, metabolomics), new strain engineering technologies for biofuels and high value products and pharmaceuticals, advances in biomaterials, photobioreactor design and control systems, and new technologies in characterization and analysis, among others.
