The Chair of Bioprocess Engineering participates in the Study Information Day 2025

The Study Information Day on June 5, 2025, offered students an ideal opportunity to get to know the Kaiserslautern campus of RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. At the info fair, featuring numerous interactive activities, visitors were able to talk to current students and gain their first insights into university life. The program was complemented by a variety of events such as lab tours, workshops, and open lectures.

The Department of Bioprocess Engineering (BioVT) was represented with an information booth presenting the Bio- and Chemical Engineering (BCI) degree program, as well as the department’s Brewing and Beekeeping student group. Visitors had the chance to create their own microbial fingerprint and sample honey produced by the Beekeeping AG. In addition, Dr.-Ing. Judith Stiefelmaier and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Fabian Jirasek gave a presentation outlining the study options in the field of bio- and chemical engineering.
