BrauAG supported ‘FCK meets RPTU’

On 25 February 2026, the interactive show lecture ‘Annerstwu is annerschd: FCK meets RPTU’ took place in the Audimax of the RPTU Kaiserslautern. As part of the cooperation between 1. FC Kaiserslautern and RPTU, the event impressively demonstrated how science and football can interact in innovative ways.

Researchers from RPTU and representatives of 1. FC Kaiserslautern highlighted key issues relating to performance, strategy and playing practice in live experiments. The programme was complemented by entertaining activities such as goal wall shooting, a musical contribution from ‘Die anonyme Giddarischde’ and a sporting competition between the current chancellor Stefan Lorenz and the newly elected chancellor Kurt Sendldorfer.

BrauAG supported the event by serving a variety of home-brewed beers. These included a classic lager, our fruity summer wheat beer with a distinctive banana aroma, a Sorachi Ale with the characteristic coconut notes of Sorachi hops, and a Palatinate Ale, which develops aromas of citrus and exotic fruits thanks to various hop varieties.

We are pleased to have contributed to the success of the event and to have been part of this special exchange between science, sport and academia.
