BioVT at the 19ème Congrès de la Sociéteé Francaise de Génie des Procédés

The 19ème Congrès de la Sociéteé Francaise de Génie des Procédés (19th Congress of French Process Engineers) took place in Deauville (France) from 15 to 17 October. Together with the French Society of Process Engineering, the process engineers and chemists of the RPTU organised a European session at this event, at which current RPTU research projects in these fields were presented. The Department of Bioprocess Engineering was represented with two contributions:

• Elisa Könnel; Optimizing (Process) Analysis in Bioprocess Engineering for Susstainability and Efficiency
• Marianne Volkmar; Renewable resources for a green and sustainable chemistry

There were also contributions from the fields of fluid mechanics, organic, inorganic and technical chemistry as well as thermodynamics and mechanical process engineering.
