The fourth edition of the Quantitative NMR Methods for Process and Reaction Monitoring symposium took place in Kaiserslautern from May 24th to May 26th. The event, hosted at the Fraunhofer ITWM, was organized by the Laboratory of Engineering Thermodynamics and the LASE-MR group from RPTU Kaiserslautern.

The symposium featured 15 renowned speakers from both national and international backgrounds who shared their cutting-edge research and practical applications of NMR methods in process and reaction monitoring. Various topics were explored, including industrial applications, imaging methods, and the integration of NMR with machine learning. Additionally, the event included presentations by our six sponsors (Bridge12 Technologies Inc., Bruker BioSpin, Magritek Ltd, Nanalysis, Oxford Instruments GmbH, Voxalytic GmbH), who showcased the latest advancements in NMR hardware.

To enhance scientific exchange, the program included a poster session and a dedicated session for young researchers, enabling PhD candidates to present their own research and foster networking opportunities. Attendees were also able to connect further through a get-together event and a delightful conference dinner hosted at the picturesque Das Brauhaus an der Gartenschau.
