About us:
At the Institute of Computational Physics in Engineering, we work on various fields of research, such as soft robotics and manufacturing processes. We always combine experimental investigations with numerical analyses to better understand the systems and to be able to calibrate our models. Get a more detailed insight on our research overview.

What you bring along:
- Reliability, commitment and the ability to work independently
- Team orientation and willingness to collaborate with other specialist areas
- Degree (diploma or master's degree) in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, mathematics, physics or a related field with an above-average degree
- Sound knowledge of mechanics. Knowledge of the finite element method or continuum mechanics is desirable
- Programming skills (e.g. Python, C++, Matlab, Julia)
- Interest in scientific work
- Good knowledge of German and English
