Summary

Khalil Abuibaid earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Mechatronics Engineering from Misr University for Science and Technology in Egypt. In 2018, he moved to Kaiserslautern to pursue a Master's degree in Automation and Control Engineering at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. In his master's thesis, he addressed a comparison of two algorithms based on data-driven model predictive control. In addition, a reinforcement learning-based linear quadratic regulator is implemented with constraints in consideration. Since May of 2022, he has been working as a research assistant.
