Prof. Oleksandr Hondliakh and Malte Nestriepke are new members at the chair
Mr. Malte Nestriepke joined our team on January 1, 2025 and since February 1, 2025 Prof. Oleksandr Hondliakh is also a member of our team.
Mr. Nestriepke completed his master's thesis at our chair with the title “Programming a graphical user interface with Matlab, commissioning and validation of a 3D scattered light sensor for determining the sphericity of submicron test aerosols” with very good results. He will be working in the field of aerosol technology in the future.
Prof. Hondliakh is working at the chair as part of the DFG-funded research topic “Multiscale model of deformation and strength characteristics of dispersed carbon nanotube-reinforced polymers”. Before joining RPTU, Prof. Hondliakh was professor at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, specifically in the Department of Chemical, Polymer and Silicate Process Engineering. His scientific work includes the development of innovative models for the deformation of multilayer shells, the precise description of crack formation processes in spheres and the numerical modeling of destruction processes in composite materials with multilayer structures. Prof. Hondliakh is also a member of the editorial team of the journal “Technology Audit and Production Reserves”.
We are delighted to welcome both to the team!
