  • Fundamentals of irreversible thermodynamics
  • Modeling approaches
  • Material properties (thermal conductivity, viscosity, diffusion coefficients)
  • Fickian diffusion
  • Maxwell-Stefan diffusion
  • Heat and mass transfer
  • Diffusion in external fields
  • Focus: fluids (gases and liquids)
