The DFG project "Analyzing and ensuring the ecological sustainability of technical product-service systems in the early design phase - ÖkoPSS" ends in September. In the course of the project, a procedure was developed with which theCO2 footprint of product-service systems can be reduced in a targeted manner as early as the development stage. Based on the life cycle assessments carried out, potential reductions of up to 40% were identified. The procedure shown in the figure has already been successfully applied by industrial partners.
