Invitation to the mecPro² results conference

Three years ago, the mecPro² consortium, led by Schaeffler Technologies AG and Co. KG, embarked on a Herculean task: How can a model-based development process for cybertronic products and production systems be developed against the backdrop of the challenges of Industry 4.0 and supported with PLM systems?

The consortium partners of the joint project mecPro² cordially invite you to the results conference. We are pleased to be able to give you an insight into the results of the first model-based development process for Industry 4.0. And not only in theory, but also on the basis of two concrete application demonstrators from practice.

The results conference will take place following this year's Systems Engineering Day (TdSE) on October 28, 2016 in Herzogenaurach, Franconia. You can expect interesting contributions on the following topics, among others:

  • Challenges in the development of cybertronic elements and systems
  • New processes for development in the context of Industry 4.0
  • Integrated concept of a model-based development process consisting of a process framework and description system
  • Integrated concept for model-based development of product and production system
  • Integrated concept for lifecycle and configuration management in model-based collaboration

The contributions will be accompanied by a keynote speech, numerous opportunities for discussion and the opportunity to experience the implementation of the concepts within two demonstrators.
