Start des neuen Forschungsprojekts HyModCon

We are delighted that the Brazilian-German cooperation to investigate the use of digital twins in production based on hybrid models is being continued. The HyModCon research project, funded by the German Research Foundation, was launched on February 1, 2023. In collaboration with research partners from the University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN in Natal, Brazil), the applicability of hybrid models with different model input conditions is being investigated. Hybrid models promise better results for analysis, monitoring and prediction in application areas at the factory, machine and process level, as they combine physics-based and data-driven models. The aim is to extend the scope of digital twins from advanced Industry 4.0 implementations to a wide range of scenarios, especially in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
