Summary
Andreas Wagner studied mechanical engineering with business administration (B. Sc.) and product development in mechanical engineering (M. Sc.) at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. In his master thesis he dealt with the "Investigation and implementation of manufacturing scenarios in autonomous production at a robot cell using OPC UA skills". He was already working as a research assistant during his studies at the Chair of Machine Tools and Control Systems since September 2018, since April 2020 he is a research assistant.
Research Fields
Andreas Wagner deals with the introduction of the mobile telecommunication standard 5G into industrial and autonomous production and the resulting application scenarios. The relevance of OPC UA as a communication technology in connection with skill-based production is also considered.
