Summary
Magnus Volkmann studied mechanical engineering / process engineering at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern with a focus on energy engineering. He wrote his final Thesis on "FEM Analysis and Topology Optimization of Components for Bionic Designs with regard to "Additive Manufacturing" (3D Printing). He joined the Chair of Machine Tools and Control Systems as a research assistant in September 2017.
Research Fields
Magnus Volkmann deals with the control, optimization and behavior of industrial robots. In particular the purpose of industrial robots as machine tools is investigated.
