Jun.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Leyu Lin
Jun.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Leyu Lin studied applied chemistry at Dalian University of Technology, China, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2002. Afterwards, he studied process engineering at the University of Stuttgart with a focus on polymer technology. After his graduation, he started firstly as a Ph.D. student in the DFG graduate college GRK 814 and then employed as a research associate at the Chair of Composite Engineering (CCe), Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU), where he received his doctoral degree with the title "Processing controlled properties of thermoplastic-based nanocomposites" in 2013. From April 2014 to May 2020, he was the chief engineer at the chair. From June 2020, Dr.-Ing. Lin was appointed to a Jun.-Professorship for "Polymer Technology" at the RPTU.
Teaching and research of Mr. JP Lin focus on process-structure-property relationships of plastics with special consideration of tribology.
