Mechanical engineering and process engineering have permanently changed all areas of life. Our engineers develop machines, appliances, devices and entire systems that are used in all areas. Due to the growing complexity of these systems, the demands placed on our graduates have steadily increased in recent years.
Increasingly, interdisciplinary thinking and the willingness to constantly expand acquired knowledge are part of the job description. You will be perfectly prepared for the challenges of working life in the different study programs of the faculty.
In addition to the discipline-specific courses in mechanical engineering and process engineering, the department also offers a number of interdisciplinary degree programs in cooperation with other departments of our TU.
Additionally there is the possibility to enroll for one of the three Franco-German double degree programs.
Due to the numerous contacts of our professors to foreign universities, there are many opportunities to spend part of the studies abroad.
