We are delighted that our project “Investigation of droplet deposition and tightness of particle-filtering half masks made of electret nonwovens under real conditions of use” has been honored with the “GVT Project of the Year 2026” award.

We warmly congratulate Mr. M.Sc. Daniel Stoll, who played the leading role in carrying out the project, on this special distinction and are very pleased to see his outstanding work receive such recognition. The GVT (German Association for Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering) honors outstanding research projects with particular scientific excellence and industrial relevance through this award.

As part of the first session of the GVT general assembly in Sonthofen, Mr. Stoll presented the IGF project on May 4, 2026, in an engaging and scientifically profound lecture. The IGF (Industrial Collective Research program) supports pre-competitive research projects with significant benefits, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises.

We are especially pleased that the project was able to impress both through its scientific quality and its strong economic relevance — fully in line with the objectives of the IGF program.
