Johannes Möller Award 2023 - Dr. Dominik Weis

Dr.-Ing. Dominik Weis has been awarded the Johannes Möller Prize 2023 for his dissertation. This prestigious prize is awarded by Möller Foundation for Science and Research for the outstanding dissertations in the field of solids process engineering (www.moellerstiftung.de/johannes-moeller-preis).

The prize was awarded at the joint conference of the DECHAMA specialist group "Agglomeration and Bulk Solids Technology" and "Size Reduction and Classification", which took place at the Technical University of Braunschweig on March 21-23, 2023.

Mr. Weis defended his dissertation "Description of the spheronization process of pharmaceutical pellets by numerical methods" at the Chair of MVT in 2021 and at BASF in the field of modeling and simulation of solid processes.

This year two prizes were awarded by Möller Foundation. The second prize winner is Dr.-Ing. Frank Rhein from KIT (MVM, Prof. Hermann Nirschl).
