At FILTECH (14-16.02.2023 in Cologne), the Institute of Particle Process Engineering presented their latest research results in solid-liquid separation, aerosol technology and the classification of fine particles in five lectures and three posters to an international audience of experts. Through the lively exchange with experts from all over the world, new research ideas as well as cooperation possibilities could be developed.
In his keynote lecture, Prof. Dr.-Ing Sergiy Antonyuk showed how the particle interactions in solid-liquid separation can be described by means of coupled CFD-DEM simulation in order to obtain a deeper understanding of the separation processes.
